MFL Constructs Giant Stone Crusher

April 18, 2016

The 24-hour-charity run in Irdning/Ennstal valley ranks among the most idyllic running events all over the world. Every year this most serious sporting challenge in a unique atmosphere casts a spell over some 2,500 runners. The MFL employees made again a very strong impression during the event on July 1 and 2, 2016, winning over the audience with their fitness, their fighting spirit and the right strategy. They were awarded a fantastic 7th place for 260 rounds and a total running length of 316.61 km.

Maschinenfabrik Liezen und Gießerei has once again proven its outstanding efficiency as the manufacturing centre of the complete MFL Group by constructing the crusher REMAX 810. A modern machine park combined with the enormous commitment and vast know-how of the MFL employees result in this excellent performance of mechanical and plant engineering.

The impressive mobile crushing plant type REMAX 810 was manufactured in only six months for SBM Mineral Processing, a member of MFL Group.
The 275-t power package was delivered to a quarry in Germany where it is used to crush natural stone.

Stone sizes up to an edge length of 1.20 m are processed down to a final grain size of 0-300 mm. This is carried out at a throughput capacity of up to 1,000 t/h and a bulk density of approx. 1.6 t/m². The track plant is equipped with a hybrid drive (electric/hydraulic) and 2 mobcon conveyor belts.
