Christmas and End-of-Year Party with Tom Walek – Huge Success at the South Pole and in Liezen

The MFL Christmas and End-of-Year 2019 Party took place in the well-filled Liezen cultural centre in a very relaxed atmosphere and with lively music provided by Wüdara Musi. The topic Teamwork gained particular significance at this event.

On December 13 the time had come again. The MFL employees celebrated the end of the year during the annual Christmas party in the well-filled Liezen cultural centre. Special guest Tom Walek assured great fun as “man at the microphone” and expertly entertained the audience with his thrilling experience in his “Race to the South Pole with Hermann Maier”.

Tom Walek: To the South Pole as a Team
And suddenly the ultimate challenge was there! In “Race to the South Pole”, one of the most ambitious TV expeditions projects ever, the smart radio and TV star reported about the borderline experience of his life in a double sense: First the march through the eternal ice, and second together with skiing legend Hermann Maier.
This was about borderline experiences and physical as well as mental exertions and strains. About trivial hardships he never knew before that they even existed. About experiencing moments of utter joy and despair. And it was about the simple but deep truths of life that he could not have become aware of more drastically anywhere than at the southernmost point of the earth, such as e.g.
