Show of Appreciation by the Governor of Styria

As part of his tour through all districts of Styria, the Styrian Governor Mr Hermann Schützenhöfer and a delegation visited the region Ennstal on April 17, 2018. Apart from the district commission in Liezen and its Gröbming branch, the company Maschinenfabrik Liezen und Gießerei was the only enterprise on the agenda of this day. The majority shareholder Mr Erwin Haider and the complete management were very pleased by this show of appreciation and gave the delegation a warm and pleasant welcome.

After a Meet & Greet the visitors were shown MFL‘s high-tech welding shop where main cross girders for the rail traffic industry are currently manufactured. Then the delegation visited the next highlight, the brand-new machining centre for all kinds of metal cutting. One of MFL‘s assembly halls completed the company presentation.

A Very Impressed Governor
According to Mr Schützenhöfer “Maschinenfabrik Liezen und Gießerei is a fantastic company securing valuable jobs in this region due to its know-how and high-quality products.” The Governor was also very impressed by the fact that MFL employs some 50 apprentices and is thus making a major contribution to the apprentice training in the region. “Our unique dual training system is accepted worldwide and is the key foundation for the outstanding quality of our well-trained local professionals”, the Governor underlined. “I am very grateful to Mr Erwin Haider and his team for their commitment and their loyalty to Styria. The employees as well as the prudent and future-oriented management of MFL contribute to the considerable economic success of our country,” Mr Schützenhöfer stressed during his visit to MFL.
